It's related, but it solves a different problem. Traditional SEO helps you rank in a list of links. AI visibility determines whether AI engines understand your business well enough to recommend it when someone asks who to hire. Most of it carries over. The content, page structure, messaging clarity, Google Business Profile, and listing cleanup are platform-independent, and that's the majority of the value. The technical layer (schema markup, metadata) would need re-implementing on a new platform, but every change is documented in your Completion Report, so a developer would be re-entering a documented spec, not rediscovering the strategy.

On-site is everything AI reads from your own foundation: the content, structure, and technical signals on your website. Off-site is the external validation AI trusts: directories, citations, reviews, and media presence.
